[SOLVED] Infamous 0x80073712 on Windows 10

I actually tried to just use the "upgrade this pc now" option and then it crashed. Just now though, I put it on a USB drive, it installed just fine and the Windows Update worked! Thanks for all your time :D

Using that tool, it downloads and gets it all ready and when it gets to 100% it crashes the tool.

Yes absolutely, I can try that. It's a newer laptop so there isn't as much stuff in there I was just trying to avoid it if possible, ofc. However I'll have to research how to find the ISO/installer since it just ran from Windows 8. Would rolling back to 8 and then again forward to 10 work...

Yeah no problem, I had Windows 8.1 64bit (not pro) after upgrading I didn't do any clean up. I wanted to make sure everything was fine before I did, like on my other two PCs, this one was my last one, and ofc it had to have something wrong with it :P I did do a DISM but it was the same one you...

[SOLVED] Infamous 0x80073712 on Windows 10

I just updated both my laptop and desktop to Windows 10. Desktop is running 100% no problems. Laptop updated to 10 just fine however... It won't update windows or let met download anything from the store. If I try to do a Windows update I get error 0x80073712. Up until now I did the fixes...
