I agree that the motherboard is most likely the issue. I never had any issues with my old motherboard when using the RTX 4090. I think I’m going to send the motherboard and CPU back for a replacement. The CPU temps are stupidly high which makes me think that there’s an issue with it as others...

I have taken the GPU out before and used integrated graphics and the issue went away with system interrupts. It’s definitely a conflict between the GPU audio and the integrated audio controller on the motherboard. Why would they conflict though? My old motherboard was an ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero...

Hi, I did install the HD Audio from NVIDIA because I use it for my monitors. I used it on my old PC without any conflicts and the motherboard was practically the same as the one I have now just older. It was part of the Hero lineup.

Unfortunately, I have the motherboard but not the CPU as I sold my 9900k 2 weeks ago and my current CPU is AMD not Intel so I can’t use the motherboard. I decided to try the command prompt again that you gave me the other day and this came back.

System interrupts, Latency, HDaudbus.sys

2023 and this forum is still helping people. I had issues with the High Definition Audio Controller on my ASUS ROG Crosshair X670E Hero and changing it to MSI mode in the registry seemed to fix the issue. Thank you so much PowerFulls for the fix.

I think I may have actually fixed the issue finally. I found another forum (System interrupts, Latency, HDaudbus.sys) from 2017 on Sysnative and the person had a similar issue to me with hdaudbus.sys causing high latency and system interrupts. The fix was to change the HD Audio Controller to MSI...

I forgot to mention that I can also alter my BIOS settings as much as I want with the two High Definition Audio Controllers disabled. It no longer freezes and blue screens once leaving the BIOS, but once I enable them again and go back into the BIOS and change something; the computer starts...
