Windows Update Error 800704090

Thanks for your reply Tom. Unfortunately my Alienware system didn't come with a set of Win 7 discs. Instead I'm told by Dell to download and install AlienRespawn which also fails to work. So far Dell have been less than helpful. Not sure where I can go with this. Have already tried...

Windows Update Error 800704090

Hi, For some reason I cannot explain, windows update failed after installing 2 or 4 updates today. I now continuously get failures with all update attempts and error code 800704090. I'm not sure how to go about fixing this. Hopefully somebody out there can help? CBS and CHECKSUR log files...
