Hmm. I'm kinda running out of ideas what could be causing these auto-minimizing / programs randomly flashing not responding issues. I don't really want to reformat - are there anything else I can be looking at?

Hello, I don't know if this is related, but I'm starting to see some corrupt video files on my hard drive (I can open it, but it won't play, or some just won't play at all). Maybe the hard drive is dying and it's corrupting some of my system files as well? Thanks, Justin

I did that, but Skype window position is still out of whack. However, if I maximize it (in its improper form), minimize it to taskbar, and reopen it, then it's maximized properly.

When I did the "cascade window" option, Skype is maximized properly. But if I choose Restore -> Maximize again, Skype goes back to having that same weird window position.
