Yes that is correct. Everything seems the same was the windows update issue something that I wouldn't really notice?

Ok so that got the computer to boot again but even in safe mode with networking I got the same message from both the SFCFix and from the sfc /scannow.

Ok so now it won't boot at all. Lights and fans come on so do the keyboard and mouse but there is no longer any display not even the option to enter the BIOS or boot menu.

Its been about 40 minutes and the fans are running and the keyboard and mouse are lit but there is no display should I just let it keep trying to boot?

Im sorry it took so long to restart i forgot that after Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart There was no blue screen with the option to actually go into safe mode and it just restarted. I'm actually booting into safe mode using the second option now. Sorry about that.

Most things are the same with the following exceptions: win+r and win+x now work from desktop but rightclick will still freeze the desktop google requested an update google chrome did not log me out of this website
