Hi again. We had several hours of a local power-out/power-cut, so could not go online, before now. I'm at the moment connected with ethernet cable, not wifi since I removed wires from it, maybe I should have removed the card completely? I hope we can get to find the issue that prevented...

The linked solution you gave worked..thanks https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/17588/windows-fix-problems-that-block-programs-being-installed-or-removed I did not have to use revo uninstaller.

Sorry, for the delay in going further/responding, had to attend other things. (I appreciate the help with this) I seem not to be able to uninstall MyWinlocker 4. It gives me error: [Error 1316.The specified account already exists.]

I'm waiting😴..The Automatic update has suddenly started installing in background.. So I will wait until it's done..possible with same error. But hopefully not.😵 If it fails again i'll run FRST .

Ok.. I have Deleted the programs as you mentioned plus the program Malwarebytes ..some people elsewhere mention that it can interfere. I ran 'sfc /scannow' and it reported back that it fixed problems, you can see below. I still have the same issues after, regarding dragging and dropping files...

Yes.. There is a lot of applications on the Computer. Was never a problem for upgrading before. Anyway concerning the pointers sudden issue, I have connected a Mouse, I have a trackpad and touch screen, but whatever way now, I can't drag stuff no more. and, yes I did check the Grid option for...

I have also just noticed that i can't grab a file anymore with pointer and release it.. strange. Even in file explorer. But I can copy and paste.

Ok thanks.. here is the 2 Log files: One strange thing is that now, happened before running this scan.. I now can't move files or folders around on the desktop anymore they seem stuck? even after a reboot?
