I could solve this error with copying regkeys for this and some errors, which followed. Now I am at a new error. I am missing cat-files. I copy them from another machine, too. If I will solve it, I let you know. Is there a method to pretend missing cat files? I know, that an In-Place-Upgrade...

[SOLVED] Installation error 0x800f0982 on KB5037422

Thank you very much for your answer. I got it fixed with running Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth /Source:e:\sources\install.wim /limitaccess and added a folder and a registry entry into WinSxS and COMPONENT-registry-store from another PC.

[SOLVED] Installation error 0x800f0982 on KB5037422

Hi all, I encounter this error on a Windows Server 2022 machine. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth fails at 30,5%. Here is the CBS.zip: CBS.zip Unfortunately there was also a try to rescue the machine without success.

Maybe one additional info: At first Windows Update was complaining about missing Windows-Slb-Mux-Components. I fixed this succesfully with a SFCFix-Package from another thread. Now it requests a DatacenterLicense-Package. I have the doubt, that Windows Update thinks, that this is a WIndows...
