plodr, Absolutely ! 100% correct. Two questions: a) If I export the SnapIns Hive will that remove them permanently ? b) Is there a way to adjust the column widths so that column headings are not so far to the right ? Thanks oldraider67

Hi softwaremaniac, The sfc scan message is Windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations. I didn't realize that error messages were common in various logs. I feel a little better kmowing my computer isn't on the verge of death.
