It has been one week and a day since I first posted. I am very thankful for your attention to my issues, but I have formatted and installed Windows 10. I apologize for taking up your time unnecessarily.

Thanks for all the tips. I bought a Windows 7 Ultimate key on ebay. I think I"ll be installing Windows 10 very soon.

Can't install sound card drivers via Windows Update

I've attached a dxdiag dump, but it didn't show the accurate BIOS version, just the date. I've attached a cpu-z pic to illustrate the BIOS version. The Windows version is 7 SP1 Ultimate, with a classic theme.

I have the strangest update. I suspected my PCI-E cable on my power supply was not powering up a couple older video cards. After swapping out my existing power supply, and putting back, my Realtek Sound driver has begun functioning. I can't imagine why this worked, but I'm going to let it sit...

I got a crash playing an old game, rebooted, and after a forced windows repair, I was back at the desktop. The problem with the game persisted, but I had the inkling to run sfc, SURT, and sfcfix Here are my logs

Beautiful. After applying that fix, Windows Updates installed KB4503292 and rebooted cleanly. Thanks for all the help!
