This is what i mean by discord notifacations are distorted. It is a similar sound to what i will get while watching a video on youtube, or somtimes while in a game the sound will go the same. Dropbox - Recording (2).zip

Well, the problem will present itself all of the time with any discord notification sound be it a direct message tone, a server tone, the push to talk tone, voip will start to crackle. I cant say i notice it with media on my pc (music) although i could try test this , i mainly use web based...

Ok Well i tried today with a gtx 970 installed made no differance, i changed the ram from 3200mhz SK hynix to 2666mhz Samsung B-Die, made no differance. I tried my 3200mhz kit at 2400mhz made no differance, i turned multicore enhancement off so returned cpu to stock clocks. all still the same...

Urghh, Yep watching something on youtube this morning, an the Random Noise glitch reappears . Went back on the video several times to see if it was in the video, or bad editing but nope. Will try run a audio trace now while i watch some things.

Yes IRQ that was it i think, i currently have all latest drivers installed from my motherboard support page. Think i am going to have to Start trying other hardware as well. this problem has persisted through 2 gigabyte z370 gaming 7's , first one was terrible , second one was slightly better...

Ah :( , i restarted twice , the first time once i removed EVGA's software, the second time when i got that error. I will try the one you suggest, is the stop trace command the same as the first trace i ran?

I can try, the only issue there really is , it is the only program that can control my gpu fans. any other program will only use 1 of the 3 fans. i will remove it. but then i can only really test web and discord things :rofl12:

Here is a audio trace for today Dropbox - audio.zip, i tried to do multiple things, Though it appears today Discord is the only thing that is misbehaving. Specificly notifacations, PTT activation and deactivation notifacation does it to so i toggled that off and on several times. I may restart...
