[SOLVED] sfc /scannow and Windows Update not working

Tried several times but sfc /scannow completes and log is incomplete. We give up now and will do a reinstall whenever there will be enough time... Thanks for your help!

Sorry for the late reply, system is in use 24x7... Rerun of sfc /scannow finishes after a while but log is still incomplete... will retry later.

As of today Windows Update is no longer working, error codes when installing: 0x80073701 & 0x80073712. Ran sfc /scannow and it wasn't able to fix all problems. Seems that the folder C:\Windows\winsxs\TEMP\PendingRenames is filling up (currently contains approx. 9000 files, number increasing...
