ok. I've restored an Image from my set of backups and reconfigured outlook using the following guide: (one problem: it's in german.... Neues Outlook-Profil anlegen - Tipps, Tricks und Tools für Microsoft Office Outlook It works so far now. knock on wood! That it will stay like this.

In the mean time this system ran again into a Windows update problem.......This after all effort to fix the WIN7 update problems to be able to migrate to WIN10!!?? After performing a Windows system restore it is back again....for how long? I've found a very interesting documentation how to setup...

Hi xrobwx71 Thx for your tipp. Done as you recommended. No success. I've restored various versions of the .pst to another location. At the end one from last June, because I've realized, that the file became quite big. (about 1 Meg. my autoarchive settings are gone..) But it did also not change...

Hi, When I investigated I saw such a post already. This is the method I wanted to avoid. I do not understand why there is no problem with Win7 and why it was working at the begining with Win 10... So, it seems there is no choice.

Hi, Max. SMB is now on SMB3. No change. Still Browsing Drives and Files was never a problem. Outlook 2010 on Win7 has no problem with the new settings.....

Thanks to all! @ xrobwx71 import did not change anything. @ skydivr Repair did not help. @ britechguy If no quick fix is available I will do so. @ SleepyDude you again! My NAS is a Synology DS214+ see in the attachments more info. It is now on the latest patch-level, but no change so far...

Hi! I did as you told, but this time it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Windows update took ages. But it ended successful. So far, I did not discover any problem beside that it is now Win 10! Great we started January 13 and today is February 12. It did not even take a full month!;-) Thanks to you...

It's not completely clear for me what I should do. I've searched the Registry for HKLM\COMPONENTS /V PendingRequired This is not listed. Anything else to do or perform now an update?
