Ah, upon further researching the update concerns the nagging update to Windows 10 I purposely removed way back when. Guess it isn't even necessary as long as the important security updates keep installing correctly in the future. It is odd that it fails to install with the same error code though.

Progress. :) Monthly rollups 06-07 were now installed succesfully. One update (KB2952664) however still refuses to install. Dropbox - CBS.zip
