Sadly no dice. It was already set to automatically detect settings. Some moderately good news: net start wuauserv did succeed in cmd; but no dice when I use the gui windows update utility.

Hi Richard, Seems that SFC is not reporting any further issues. However, I still cannot connect to Windows Update. I have now rerun the troubleshooter and I'm seeing the following issues: PrintWindows Update Publisher details Issues found Problems installing recent updatesProblems...

Corrupt windows update

I've tried running SFC /scannow from an elevated powershell and have run DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth. Unfortunately, windows update will still not run. Running the debugging tool, here's what I see: http://puu.sh/7rz7e.png Attached here is my CBS folder. Any help would be...
