Well hopefully that's it all nailed down. You've made a 76 year old man very happy ;-) and you're only a Junior Analyst ;-? BTW the Turn Windows Features On and Off window had been coming up blank but that was fixed also after your rebuilding of Manifests and Packages I imagine. Seriously cool.

All worked sweetly. KB3075226 now shown in Installed Updates (and in History). So no need for the WindowsUpdate.log and CBS.log files yet.

Yes that was the error code - 80070308 But after another restart, when I compare the list of failures (that you listed from what I gave you), I now have (following the list you posted) :- KB3071756 Fail - well not exactly 'cos as I said Security Update for Windows (KB3071756)...

I note that having shut down last night rebooting this morning allowed the update KB3060716 to install successfully. Today's result is as follows Succeeded: 8 updates Failed: 1 update Error Code 8024200D Failed update was KB3071756 Link to 1GB cbs.log...

Sorry - I did not mean to send that last message as I was checking that I had done all the dropbox stuff correctly but when testing that the link would work the cbs.txt file seemed to hang my firefox because it was trying to display the text file rather than allowing me to just download the...
