my date/time is good i've rebooted several times searching admin tools -> services does not reveal "TrustedInstaller"- ? i found the file at Windows\servicing\ but where is the service managed? Under another name? windows update service is set to automatic/delayed start windows modules...

ok im back. the update worked/applied, then i rebooted- all seemed fine. after update completed, tried to check for updates again and it worked properly (reflecting no new updates, no errors). then today, manually updated MSE definitions as per usual (from the MSE program window) no problem...
