Hi NoelDP, first of all, Thanks for your time and help. As AV i am using "Microsoft Security Essential". The 4.11.13 I installed "Kaspersky Security Scan", hoping that i just got a Virus and could resolve this update Problem of mine (which i had for the last 3 months). But it found nothing...

OK, i have good and bad news: good News: we do seem to change something. When trying to upgrade Windows, i get a new "different" Error: from "0x80072f8f" >> "8007370A" bad News: still updating doesnt work and when i try updating my Microsoft Security Essential i still get the old...

from the steps in the tutorial for manually reset Windows Update all worked except: Step 3: i looked manually for "qmgr*.dat" and it wasnt there, so deleting it didnt work Step 4: Renaming the following folders to *.BAK: didnt work in cmd and couldnt do it manually either, as it doesnt allow...

Windows update again: I talked to my Dad and he has the "Product Key", which he will give me the next time we meet. I just dont get why Windows now tells me that this Product key is illegal, when I was using this "key" for the last 2 years.... And I only started having update problems and...
