So update: I reloaded Windows 10 from the Cloud download and did all the updates including that dreaded KB5013942(cumulative update). So I never figured it out so the two hours that I spent on getting everything new again worked. Thanks for trying.

So every day that I start this computer the update continues to download this update, restarting fails the completion of the update and I get the message about couldn't complete this update. When I look at the Windows Update again it says Retry and I just ignore it. But then after a restart it...

I see that other people have trouble with the KB5013942 update. I tried the SFCFix and it said it did not find any errors. I did a Chkdsk C: /f /r . I have now tried about 8 different ways to troubleshoot this problem. I think I am going to give up. I have been messing with this for three days...
