Media Player not working

Thanks but no, definitely not turned on by anyone else. I've run a full scan with Kaspersky Internet Security, nothing found. However, I have cured my problem with Media Player by rolling back the Display Adapter Driver to an earlier version. Why this should work is not in my knowledge, but...

Media Player not working

Media player has ceased to function properly, playing an mp4 file opens media player in a tiny window, the sound runs but the video does not. If I go to full screen, the image size stays the same (approx 2 inch square) and still does not run. Acer Travelmate TMP453-M running W7 Professional...

DISM run as advised and it reported 1 error which I failed to take a good note of before rebooting but I can say it looked like it installed a Rollup. CBS.log here: Dropbox - CBS-2.zip Thanks again, Jerry

[SOLVED] Updates fail: Error code 8024200D - For softwaremaniac

Update failed to install 2018-05 Security Quality Rollup Update did install Hotfix for Windows (KB947821) and Definition update for windows Defender. I look for CBS log under C:\windows\ and I do not find it :huh: ..... can I have moved it to the Desktop?? There is an earlier version there.
