You are a magician, thank you! Worked perfectly, system is now updated to 1909 and didn't have to be wiped :)

[SOLVED] Windows 10 1709 corrupt components hive

Hi @SleepyDude you seem to be the hive file master around here. I have a system that was brought to me running 1709 and Windows update refuses to work and I cannot do an in-place upgrade to any newer version of Windows. The hard drive has some bad sectors and is being replaced with a new drive...
