Thanks you for your response. Is it safe to assume that if I rename the windrvr6.sys file it will not load and therefore cannot cause the BSOD? I can then rename it back when I use the particular piece of hardware that needs it.

As I mentioned, I have not had the time to run through the process of verifying the drivers (and also had hoped that replacing my drive might fix the problem), the first step of which would be to attempt to uninstall/re-install that driver. I can't simply uninstall it as it is needed to drive...

I found instructions on how to reinstall the driver on the Xilinx web site, so I'll give this a try as soon as I can. If you have any other thoughts on this, I'll all ears.
