Computer sometimes restarts when I shut down. Second shut down works fine.

The restart problem is still present sometimes. I posted the SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip from the Sysnative BSOD Dump on post #17 of this thread, but am unable to get the PERFMON System Health Report to work. I'll try the Driver Verifier, HDD Diagnostics, and RAM test to see if they help.

I followed the directions and ran the Resource and Performance Monitor again, but got a similar error. The "Abnormally Terminated Services Check" Test Group ran and failed the 1 test. Also if I click on the error code symptom, it showed the "Abnormally Stopped System Service" to be following...

Yes, I have installed g.skill ripjaws F3-10666CL9d-8GBXL (two 4GB sticks). They are seated in the second and fourth slots from the CPU (labeled DDR3_2 and DDR3_1 on the motherboard, respectively).

Thanks for the reply. I ran the SysnativeBSODCollectionApp and attached the SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip, but the PERFMON System Health Report had an error with the symptom: "A service is reported as having an unexpected error code." The details stated "Service exited with code not equal to 0...

Thanks for the suggestion, but I already tried that earlier when I was trying to fix the problem on my own. I just checked and "Automatically restart" is already unchecked.

I reset to default bios settings and got a pretty big Windows 10 update recently. It didn't really fix the problem. Got another restart today. =(

I checked and didn't have On/Off Charge installed and tried disabling hibernation. It didn't restart a few times, but it's starting to happen again.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. One weird thing about my problem is that it doesn't restart every time it shuts down, so I'll have to test it out a few times to see if it worked.
