thank you digerati.. helpful info. my exectations are modest, I should mention that I do use an external K11 Konfulon stereo speaker. following the link instructions was not successful as there is no tab for ''improvements' in my case and no equalizer to be found.

Windows 10 Home up to date, HP Spectre 13, convertible, 16 RAM, 512 SSD Bang and Olufsen speakers Is there a windows 10 default equalizer? I cannot find it. If not, who can recommend a good free third party alternative to enhance laptop sounds quality and volume? Thank you!

🤩 KUDOS and congratulations x BlueRobot !! Still OK, even after reboot. I think we did it. You helped to make my day. Now I can actually use my machine without the constant frustration about disappearing windows. What a difference a little checkmark can make ... :) AWESOME!!(y):coffee:

Hi BlueRobot, awesome. the highlighted box in the ease of access had a checkmark in it. after unchecking it seems the issue is far less present, subject to further testing. and yes, the taskbar has been locked. Many thanks for now. If the issue re-appears I will advise.
