I agree with your assessment, but my boss has some unexplainable aversion to reimaging. He prefers to spend hours troubleshooting something than just starting fresh. I truly appreciate all of your help with this. :)

Unfortunately, that didn't fix it either. Still getting the 80004002 error. Antivirus is uninstalled & pc has been rebooted.
