[SOLVED] Win7SP1 corrupt update - blk screen

Seem to have had a WiFi outage during windows update, which appears to have corrupted some files. No restore points, safe mode with network feasible, no DVD slot in computer Black screen with cursor after initial welcome screen when booting normally, some disk activity, but not getting through...
