Windows 8.1 problem haunting me since 2016/2017

If I copy the whole C:\ drive to my F:\ drive, fresh install windows 8.1 and then upgrade 10, would i ever be able to go back if I messed something up? would only the C: drive be cleaned?

since the bug came up again I had to restart my pc, but just before restarting it I took a look at the progress and it was STILL stuck, meaning that it ran for 3 hours total. do I give it another try?

1 hour passed and still in the "waiting" phase, I can use the pc just fine, but anytime I check the progress it's still "waiting", let me know if I can check the logs of this "attempted repair install" to see what's making it not work :) <3

COMPONENTS.rar (11.17MB) - SendSpace.com here's the file, password is in PM this isn't the only components file I have in config though, this is the biggest one weighing 60,672 KB (last modified 25/10/2015), there's another COMPONENTS.iobit from 27/08/2017 weighing 41.216 KB and another...

heading off to bed now, but test for system drive ran "without errors" is lifetime hours the total hours that the hard drive has been active for? because if so, my system hard drive has been active for exactly 22223 hours. should've signed up on this website 1 hour earlier...maybe something...

sorry, I went straight to the test... I've checked attributes and there's nothing in pink/red (for the system drive)

Okay, running it and will let you know as soon as it's completed. I have 3 hard drives, all together they're 16 TB and the biggest drive would require a 12 hour test so I hope that won't be needed lol
