The most recent KB's from Tuesday's updates refuse to install, but the optional driver updates installed just fine. I have followed all steps in the guide. Ran chkdsk, sfc /scannow, and sfcfix(log is unremarkable). CBS logs indicate the some files are not found. Never had a problem like this...

Re: Windows 7 x64 KB Fails to Install OK I got: Installer encountered an error: 0x80070490 Element not found. I've read over some of your recent posts on this issue, and went ahead and ran FRST. The searchreg.txt file is attached below. (Just in case this was the next step)
