Peter, I have done this already I believe earlier sometime in this thread as well as running the EASEUS sector by sector check of the HD and it has always passed, that test took hours and hours to run. I really suspect that the HD is ok and what ever the issue is with the PC I have had enough...

Peter I really appreciate your time and efforts. One last question, if it indeed malware would you think if I wiped the HD would it be safe to use as a storage HD?

OK so I just unhooked the troubled 540 and hooked up my good pc and all connections are working fine, I suspect the issue is with the Studio 540.. Im going to sleep on this and perhaps it may be time to stop screwing around with this and dump the 540. I would wipe the HDs and use them for storage.

From my phone, when on the pc that were trying to fix I can not even get on this site. I get a message that the site has timed out. Also when I try to turn off pc, its stock on the log off screen.

I think the site may be having issues as i can not upload the cbs rar file? Also having issues even opening the site (taking too long and time out message), I have cleared all temp files etc and same problem. Will try again in a little bit
