Hi Brian, It restored successfully! Yeah! and many thanks. Are we done and then can or should I move to Creator's Upgrade now? I do have a boot usb but worried about some threads indicating dism failures. I'm also curious how this system got into this bad state. If you have clues, please...

Alright progress. It failed and log attached but my internet connection was down as message said could not download source files. I do have the ISO for version 1511 if that could be used. My ultimate goal is to upgrade to latest OS but preserve the apps and files on this laptop.
