Monitor not getting signal (black screen) when powering up computer

Sorry for the delay I'm still trying to solve this. Correct i'm using Splashtop for RDP. Thanks for the advice about getting a supply tester, but the ROG has a special PSU brick so it wouldn't be compatible. I've enclosed a link that will show you what the PSU looks like ASUS ROG G20...

I also wanted to post my exact gpu I bought and posted below. They said wax watt for this card is 250watts. ASUS GeForce RTX 2070 Super 8G EVO Turbo Edition GDDR6 HDMI DisplayPort 1.4 Graphics Card (TURBO-RTX2070S-8G-EVO)

Before I do the RDP, I want to mention that after I got my pc to boot up to windows, my remote desktop software (splashtop) works fine, so I'm wondering if the RDP is an issue since it works when windows boots up? If you still think it would help my issue I will try it, but like I said...

Thanks for helping me I greatly appreciate it. I'll give the RDP a shot and report back! Just curious why this was happening with the GTX 970 before I installed the RTX 2070 turbo, because the 970 should have enough more than enough wattage so I was just wondering why I was having the same...

Thanks for the help, but how would I go about doing this? any info is greatly appreciated. :) I'm pretty sure the capacity is 410watts. It has a 180w and a 230w bricks and the model of PC rig is a ASUS ROG G20 and is a very tight and slim build. This recently had the Geforce 970 in it...

Installation of new GPU didn't help. Now i can't even use remote desktop software to access the screen anymore. I'll make a new thread though, thanks for your help.

I did what you instructed and I powered down/up and it worked! I then updated 970 drivers and powered down/up and it worked! FINALLY! You are amazing softwaremaniac! Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out and get this issue resolved after many many days of troubleshooting...

Hello, just curious if you had any updates? Thanks! The only way I can get it to work again is to uninstall the 970 in the device manager and power down and it powers back up and I see the bios and it works again UNTIL I power it down again.
