Windows 7 Support Ending January 14th

I upgraded to Win10 from Win7 a few days ago. It did not work doing and in place upgrade, so I had to do a clean install from a USB stick with the iso created from the Media Creation Tool. I first backed everything up to a new 2TB USB drive. The clean installation removed all my applications...

Booted from USB with ISO. Made selection to install Windows on SSD partition which had Windows 7. Windpws 10 now installed and activated using the Windows 7 Licence Key. The Old.Windows is there. Data was on separate hard drive which was untouched. I just had to map it as it did not initially...

SSo the process has now failed multiple times trying to migrate programs and data files. Now just trying wIth the option to keep data files only.

I realised that I had to use the UltraISO > Tools > Mount to Virtual Drive. Now when I run setup.exe on ISO file created from Media Creation Tool in the new drive G:\ it takes me to Windows 10 setup. I have selected option "Not right now" to not get updates. I will disconnect from Internet and...

The second ISO gave same error message. I am now downloading from Microsoft directly (not using Media Creation Tool).

It failed again. So, I ran the media creation tool to create an ISO and saved this locally. I then burnt this to a DVD. I opened BIOS settings but there was no obvious selection of DVD as first boot priority. There were only two options. I changed the priority to use first one, then the other...

I can't seem to uninstall: HP Support Solutions Framework I have removed from the Schedule and rebooted, but get same message. It still shows in Installed Programs in Addition.Txt All rest have been removed.

Thank you for looking at that. I reran the Win10 upgrade, and got much further, but now get a different error. I did receive a warning before that Media Player could not be migrated. I tried to delete, but it was not shown. I just clicked CONFIRM. Not sure if that might be a problem. Will try...
