Dear moderator, I got here after attempting to solve the problem in several ways. I got a 0x80070422 error and my WU service on W10 Pro doesn't run any more. I followed your very detailed instructions about the use of SFCFix.exe - I hope to read from you soon. Please help. Thanks so much. dario
