I don't think traces are going to reveal the culprit but what you wrote about trying different speakers/headset and power outlets sound like good things to check. Please do let us know what you find out if/when you try. The only other thing I can think is increasing the number of audio channels...

Is it audioh.exe on your system? The process name on mine is audiodg.exe. Assuming it's audiodg.exe, can you try using Process Explorer to suspend that process while running the game to see if the audio stops? I'm not sure if all audio has to be processed by audiodg.exe but I tried it while...

I don't get the impression from any of the traces that it's a performance issue. None of the cores are maxed out so there really shouldn't be any problem processing audio. In XMA with the Scheduler dataset added and just the Windows System Processes -> audiodg.exe -> Thread-2580...

I was hoping MXA's built-in glitch detection functionality would detect audio glitches in the traces but I'm not seeing anything. Nothing obvious, anyway. In documentation for XAudio2, I noticed there's a way to enable debug event logging in Event Viewer for XAudio2. I don't think it's enabled...

Thank you :) There's a dataset called DX VSync ISR/DPC Cadence in MXA and yours looks rather strange. Are you using two monitors? Edit: Actually, I see you have an ASUS and an Acer monitor connected. Have you already tried using just one monitor to see if that made a difference?

I'm not sure this will be able to identify the audio glitches but it's worth a try. Please uninstall Windows Performance Toolkit if you already have a version installed and then run the Windows ADK for Windows version 2004 setup. Only select Windows Performance Toolkit and Media eXperience...

[SOLVED] Need help with weird glitching - video and audio random stuttering. FIX: I updated the BIOS.

I don't know what has changed but there is a newer BIOS update (F63c) for your motherboard than what you installed last time (F63b). I'm not at all confident it will make a difference but it's something I would try - to at least eliminate it as a possibility. Can you try that and let me know if...

Hi Repa24, I'm trying to get caught up with the thread. Regarding the videos, I can certainly tell a difference in the number of pops/cracks but am not sure which are supposed to be there as part of the exhaust noises. Mine is just onboard Realtek audio so maybe not high enough fidelity for me...

Hi BeingofUniverse, welcome to Sysnative :) I don't see anything in the trace that suggests a problem with ISR/DPC latency. Did an audio issue happen during the trace?

That's not something I would have thought of but it sounds like a good idea. Please let me know how it goes. edit: The only BIOS setting I was going to suggest was making sure the onboard audio is disabled to make sure it's out of the equation.
