yes problems are gone. I am on 2.8 ghz in windows 7 now. BUt as i wrote, with 3.0 , i could use xp in this computer.

There is a lot of free ram but still it is lagging

I bought ram to make faster but nothing changes

Should i buy a new cooler or use 2.8 ghz?

IF cdrom is efected (but it is not, it can read cds and write, just ejection is problem), can it damage motherboard or psu ? MAybe my previous ones were damaged of thart cdrom.
