[SOLVED] [Win7SP1Pro x64] WU corrupt/broken. Surt tdcc 10.

There were two optional updates identified before I tried Check For Updates. Check for Updates completed with no new updates identified. I installed the two optional updates. Rebooted. Rechecked for Updates - none found. I think we are all good!!! Thanks so much for your help!

Note: My first attempt to zip the file resulted in warnings due to the file being in use. I rebooted to see if the warning were avoidable after a reboot. This was not the case; the warnings appeared again. I made a copy of the log file and zipped the copy - WindowsUpdate.log.zip

Using Dell's online utilities, I have determined that I had several old drivers and that my BIOS was not the latest version. I have updated all of them and now I have the latest BIOS and drivers for my machine. There are no Windows Updates available. Unfortunately, System Restore still fails...

No luck; failing with the same error. Not sure if this will help or not, but I noticed that there are some ERROR events being logged in System Tools -> Event Viewer -> Windows Logs -> System each time I attempt to create a Restore Point. The first error occurs 11 times. The second occurs only...
