[SOLVED] Another Unable to start BITS or Update Windows 8.1

Aura - Excellent! The fix worked and BITS is running. Windows Update ran last night and I'm back to rev. I don't know how to thank you except by providing support for the site, Sysnative! :lolg:

[SOLVED] Another Unable to start BITS or Update Windows 8.1

I'm on Windows 8.1 and found that my Windows Update was not working. The symptoms are very similar to another poster (HawkGuy) helped by BrianDrad. The BITS service exists with the same error of 2147024894. I have tried all the Troubleshooters, run SFCFix, DISM and ServicesRepair. I stopped...
