When I try to attach, it tells me "You don't have permission to open this file" I tried going into the file properties and giving full control, but that didn't help. Currently the only account is the administrator. (I lost the user account somewhere along the line in trying to fix my problems...

I ran it a few more times as it successively found a few more updates it wanted to install. Successful on the important ones, but it's stumbling on an optional update for the graphics adapter. Code 80070103 WIndows Update encountered an unknown error. This is the update that failed.
