Question...if it is not my memory, which it seems like it's not...if I upgraded to Windows 8...would all my problems go away? Because, if it is that simple, I would do that immediately.

Seeing as it doesn't seem to be my memory, if I upgrade to Windows 8...would my problems go away? Because if it would be that simple...then I would do that immediately. Again, thanks for being patient with me.

So I've let all 10 passes complete, took about 16 hours...to no avail. 0 errors.

OK so I guess it was a problem with the memory stick I was trying to use. Memtest is currently running. Will keep you posted on results. Again, thank you so much for all your help!

By nothing happens, I mean, it's not even bootable. I've set it as primary boot device...and it just gives me the option to boot from my hard drive.

Windows Update Error Code 80073701. Persistent Problem. So I noticed this problem for the past month now, and can't seem to find a solution to it. Everytime I get prompted to update Windows, the updates download, and I try installing the 5 updates, and they fail. I have tried to update them...
