i was able to solve the error in step 3 by myself with the help of this article. [7SP1 x64] Update KB3126587 failed with Code 80073701 I downloaded the packages from the post and then took the missing one from my pc and put it under C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSUR\servicing\Packages. Enclosed also...
