Reference Pointer BSOD every 30-45 minutes

@x BlueRobot I wonder if this has to do with the touchpad issues he had way back. Maybe the device is losing connection somehow and that's resulting in a blue screen? I can try to disable touchpad and see if it makes a difference

Got memtest running, it does look like errors are coming up immediately. I'm going to start testing stick by stick and also rule out the slots. Thanks guys

When I try to run memtest, I get a blinking cursor in the top left corner with a black screen. Just FYI, once the system is up and running, it seems to be fine. I've had it on for 24 hours now running tronscript and attempting updates with no issue. It seems to me like each time it gets stuck...

Test RAM with PassMark MemTest86 (version 10.6 was used)

I tried this today on a legacy machine and, just a note, it seems that the current version only works with UEFI. Would like if someone could confirm, or if there is an alternative for legacy bios

[SOLVED] PNP_DETECTED_FATAL_ERROR

Thanks wish I had seen this earlier. I did run the command to view all updates but didn't find anything with "intel" in it and didn't wanna start looking up each KB update to see which one it was, so I went with a reinstall

[SOLVED] PNP_DETECTED_FATAL_ERROR

I'll check it out, thanks. I've tried rolling back quality updates (failed) and startup repair (failed). I may have to do a reinstall on this one , or do you know of another way to manually remove updates? A lot of people are saying, like you, that it's the intel update

[SOLVED] PNP_DETECTED_FATAL_ERROR

@x BlueRobot Just FYI, got another laptop today with another PNP fatal error. This time the full diag passed (even long dst) I'll keep you posted as to what I find out. Seems to be happening a lot recently as a google recent search is showing a lot of posts
