Thank you for the help. Obtaining that information will be helpful in my case. I have doubts that the computer will be returned in a fixed state. When they had me reset it, They told me to choose the option to keep my files but reset everything else back to factory faults, this could be why it...

I have already sent the laptop to HP they should be receiving it tomorrow.. A couple thoughts: I bought the computer new in November of 2013. How are their BSODs in September? I've never had one since buying the laptop. I also reformatted the two computer two times. I have no idea what...

Laptop goes to sleep mode unexpectedly.

Verifier has been running since this morning. So far their hasnt been a BSOD. I ran the Hard drive and ram diagnostic a few days ago when HP told me too. Are those tests listed on the BSOD page any different or better? Also, I was able to reset the power options. That hasn't made a difference.

Ok, I ran all of those commands. I also saved them as 1,2,3,4. The file labeled "1" is the first command you said to do, and so on. Thanks again for the help.

Running it again. It's on test #2. And the CPU temps have climbed up to 56 Celsius thus far. I should note, the temp in my house is 68 degrees. The computer is sitting out in the open.

Alright, I installed it, selected blend, with 4 torture threads. It froze up, then BSOD'd. Upon reboot, it got hung up at the Starting Windows screen. I assume Prime95 caused this, or was it just like every other BSOD? Also, Speccy said it was 45 Celsius right before BSOD.

So then, if the drivers are good, hard drive, and ram i all check out good, all thats left is the CPU then? I find it hard to believe that it is BSOD'ing because of over heating. Id assume if heat were a problem, it would BSOD more often, not just randomly. Would Prime95 be a good way of...

Just went into the BIOS,its set at Auto and, it said "Current DRAM frequency is 800mhz", Didnt say anything about 5-5-5-18.

I also re-enabled Driver verifier, and deleted the other crash dump files just in case I messed up on the settings, or uploaded the wrong one. Here is the most current one. Also, when in the BIOS, I noticed that my CPU is running at 120 degrees, not sure if that is normal( I think it is). I...
