Assuming one had an ancient NAS - How would you use it?

Assuming the NAS unit has an IDE or SATA drive unit installed, it should be possible to remove it and install it into a caddy (USB) to make use of, but I wouldn't be relying on it given its age.

I suspect it wouldn't help, and unfortunately, I was right. 🤬 The problem is exactly the same as it was before. A couple of pics in case they help. The second pic happened when the iPhone disconnected. Any ideas anyone? Regards, Andrew

Hi @xrobwx71 Thanks for responding. I didn't look at either, to be honest. (Doh!) I did do my maintenance process without any errors showing up, but after I posted my query here, I decided to uninstall all traces of iTunes again using Revo Uninstaller yet again, download a fresh Windows 10...

Tired of having unsynchronised contact lists on Outlook, my iPhone, and Gmail (free), I deleted the lot and cleaned up Outlook's contact list so that it's just as I want it. That's when my nightmare began. I've been fighting with iTunes for days and am frustrated beyond belief. Many suggestions...

Why do the same programs appear on both drives C and D?

Hello, You can try, but I prefer a physical approach. You have a basic and dynamic disk. A sure way to know what will happen is to physically disconnect the secondary disk and see if there are any issues with it missing. If not, then you can format it and problem solved. That's the approach...

Why do the same programs appear on both drives C and D?

Hi, it looks to me like the D drive had a Windows installation on it at some point before it was turned into a slave disk. I see a Windows NT folder on there as well. I would suggest you physically disconnect the D drive by opening the case and pulling both the SATA and power cables from it...
