my problem is still happening.. does anybody know how to run kenrate? i downloaded it and when i run it, a cmd window pops open and then shuts. i cant seem to figure out how to run it in cmd or even elevated cmd. i can't find any instructions on how to start it besides typing in the...

one thing i notice also is that acrobat and firefox takes up A LOT of memory.

i got a new graphics card....re seated the ram....it is running a little better but not like it was a couple months ago. im thinking about getting a new hard drive and seeing if a fresh start works. does anybody know if i got a new hd... and put my windows on it... could i still install my old...

that is corrosion... i cleaned it with alcohol and toothbrush. also blew more dust off... the cooling fins were pretty caked and also the slot was pretty dirty. also cleaned the contacts on my ram and reseated. i'll post if it goes better. i did get another video card though.. should be here...

does something look wrong with this graphics card? what would be a good replacement? that is right behind the hdmi plug. i have two monitors. one is plugged into the hdmi slot on here... does anybody know what might have happened?

ok THANK YOU FOR LOOKING!! i'll do that and post what happened. i was actually thinking it may be my ram....but i did a memtest and it's ok. i even bought new ram.... i have not re-seated the existing ram...i will do that first. oh yea... about the malwarebytes... i only installed that recently...

thank you for the suggestions... here's an update to what i did. ran malwarebytes in safe mode... it says it found malware. mtfilleless in a couple places. . ran the sfc and chkdsk. i ran them both more than once. (not sure where to get the results file for the sfc).. chkdsk said ok. im...

hello. for about a month my pc has been stalling. whatever program i have open, whether it's word or autocad, the pc freezes randomly for about 10-60 seconds. i ran a memtest and it says no errors.. also did a chkdsk and not errors. i can't remember if i installed an update, but i installed no...
