I've done a full upgrade/ refresh in place, and that seems to have flushed it out and I'm now on the latest build. Thanks for your efforts on this - I really appreciate it and will make a donation shortly.

Out of curiosity, I went round the loop again in terms of SFC and DISM, and this time DISM failed with the following error (and attached logs): Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool Version: 10.0.18362.1 Image Version: 10.0.18362.295...

OK, it failed again, but I've attached the SFCFix log file as that was much longer than normal. Is it probable at this stage that the only way of remedying this is to go for a clean install of Windows...

Sorry, I've been away. I tried quickly again now and it failed another time, but I wasn't running ProcMon - I'll try later this afternoon properly and upload the logs.

Different error code this time - Error 0x8007371b - and different pacing of install (rather than leaping from 73% to 100% and then failing it seemed to be trying harder...!) CBS.zip and 1 more file
