Okay so I ran bcdedit /set USEPLATFORMCLOCK 1 and tested the memory. The memory returned 0 faults, however the platform clock thing really screwed something up. Everything runs really slow and the computer reports that the CPU usage is higher than any processes are actually displaying. Ey boss...

Sorry my spam filter falsely picked this up. I used to use Sleep Mode most of the time. Can you explain to me what USEPLATFORMCLOCK command does? a simple search didn't reveal an obvious answer.

Okay, so it's now tomorrow and I've now discovered that with "Fast boot" and hibernation disabled. Waking up from sleep mode (n) Full reboot (y) On one hand I might just have to get used to shutting my PC all the way down at night, which is kind of inconvenient but at least I know it stops...

Wow, if you can believe it, I didn't know that was on and it solved a lot of other problems that I couldn't identify the cause of! Like some programs being open when I restarted my computer even though I was pretty sure they shouldn't be. I'm pleased to report that everything is "Back to normal"...

Follow up: It's still doing it after uninstalling Malwarebytes. Primarily seems to be an issue after bringing the system back out of Sleep Mode. It was skipless for a while after updating the GPU drivers but the issue came back after putting it to sleep for the night and waking it up the...

While I was waiting for a response, Nvidia automatically notified me of a new GPU driver, I had it "perform a clean install", and among other things it contains the "HD audio driver" from Nvidia, I think I need more time to verify if this has somehow fixed it (Do you think it might've?) If not...
