I've used the script in SFCFix and attached the SFCFix.txt log. SURT took a bit of time to run but it's done now and I've attached the CBS folder in the .7z again. Thanks.

That did the trick. The December update installed successfully and there's no pending critical updates. The Fixlog.txt file is too large to upload directly, I can upload it to one of the hosting sites specified in the posting instructions if it's still needed. Either way I've donated a little...
