Well then, please accept my sincere apologies - I stand corrected! I installed a clean version of Windows 8.1 myself, and ran the powershell command. Low and behold: ame : CheckPoint.VPN Publisher : CN=Microsoft...

Err, no, checkpoint VPN, F5 VPN, JunosPulse VPN and Sonicall VPN aren't included in a normal clean install of Windows 8.1. Why would Microsoft bundle apps from Checkpoint, Juniper and Dell in their clean install. What version of 8.1 is this...

I'm not quite sure I understand your scenario. I understand locking down systems (done that before for work), but why do you have those VPN apps in the first place in your image? They're not included in Windows 8 by default. If you're...

Actually, apparently F5 Secure VPN, SonicWall mobile connect and Junos Pule are available on the Windows store (didn't know this - I've only ever used the Win32 versions of those programs at work). However, you can just uninstall them like you...

These aren't Windows 8 apps, they're just normal desktop apps? Is this a business machine - do you have an IT department? Err... this is the Settings app in Windows, you can't remove this

Sorry for the delay. I had some free time last night so uninstalled ESET (using the tool), left the computer running all night. I got a crash this morning, I wasn't running handbrake. Please see attached Hi Stephen, It is ESET...

If the board is the model it should not be a issue, if for some reason it does as to reactivate you'll need to do the phone activation at the number provided on screen and just explain it is a oem replacement board.

It's not like he sent me a download to MBAM. What I did was downloaded a Trial version of MBAM and activated it through the trial, the key is emailed to you. Like Xilolee said, there are signs of reliability and in the end it is activated by...

    Hey Bruce,

TKS for help on TFC - I guess I need to post a few over there to get out of "probation". Absurd to apply that to MVP when basic purpose is to avoid PM spammers/scammers and those two things don't mix - once MVP is confirmed and applied, it should be an automatic waiver of that restriction (there and any other computer forum). Probably MCC as well as UNITE malware-removal certification recipients as well. There's no risk of that from such people - and if there is, 3 posts is not going to help anyway.
