[SOLVED] No Sound from Laptop speakers, correct drivers installed.

I opened the laptop to thankfully find the speaker cable disconnected! They are working now. Thanks again for your help.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to help. I have previously tried this driver but installed it again; unfortunately to no avail. Would it be safe to assume a hardware fault at this point?
