Guess I'll close this although it's not really solved. Evidently Samsung Magician has problems that Samsung is not willing or able to fix. I have seen numerous threads on Google about it and no fixes, even when trying Samsung Tech Support...

Since Magician doesn't run unless I physically open it (I removed the Startup option), would that be a problem??

Well, so far no problem with running Magician manually on W7. Running Magician manually on W10 immediately throws the WMI crash when Magician launches (I can see it in Reliability Monitor). I guess I will live with it since Magician does run...

I had 2 threads going on the WMI problem, this one for my Win 7 computer and another one for my Win 10 computer (which I have marked solved) WMI Provider Host APPCRASH Samsung Tech Support doesn't know why WMI & Magician will no longer work...

Sorry to hear your not feeling well again. From all indications it looks like Samsung Magician is the culprit so I guess I should mark this long thread as solved then?

I finally heard from Samsung Tech Support and as long as Magician functions without being in Startup, they are happy. Obviously they don't have a clue as to why WMI crashes every time I run Magician manually and they don't really care. They...

I emailed Samsung tech support about the Magician problem last week but have not heard from them yet, other than a "canned" response that they received my email. Maybe they are still having a turkey hangover

I think I have figured out why I was getting all those WMI crashes at bootup on this W10 computer. I think that all of the WMI problems are Samsung Magician related. In my W7 thread I deleted Magician and the errors went away. On my W10...

The other night I noticed a couple of dmp files when I ran CCleaner, one was over a GB and the other one was in the MB's. I deleted them. Today I looked at Reliability Monitor and noticed 2 Windows Kernel errors with a time stamp that would...
