    Yes, I did try that. As I've said in my initial post, the problem seems to disappear for a day or two when I completely uninstall NVIDIA Drivers and the reinstall just the video driver (without GFE, audio or 3D drivers). The problem disappears...

    I always installed it before. It's half as bad without the NVIDIA driver though and installing it doesn't fix the problem. I've got my HD Audio Driver from Realtek as my audio driver.
